The original Dinker As used by JUKE BOX suppliers to cut large centers in 45 vinyl records ensuring the correct size hole with minimum wow Supplied with a copy of the original instructions. This hardened steel cutter simply tightens together press out the centre ensuring a crisp round hole. (unlike the cheap single cutting leg versions) We cannot accept any liability for damaged records.
Following up on feedback please note that this cutter operates by punching the centre out of the record. Neither the top or bottom rotate at all, it is simply inserted through the slightly enlarged record centre and then the bolt is tightened till the centre pops out. Whilst being simple to use it may be necessary to use an Allen key for records made of thicker or stronger vinyl but rest assured this is a solid quality cutter that will cut any record precisely and accurately.
Following up on more feedback received, we have been advised that the original instructions advise enlarging the centre hole very slightly using a tapered reamer or countersink bit in a drill,  In reality we have always used a single blade on a pair of scissors as this is the fastest method and means a drill is not required.
