Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon 1973 UK 1st Vinyl Solid Blue Prism A2/B2 Matrix plus Posters

From a large inherited collection of records. I’m not a collector and have had to do some serious googling to identify this.

The record has solid light blue prism LP picture labels with silver lettering. It has a gatefold sleeve that is sealed on the left hand side when opened. There are two posters, both in good condition.

Matrix stamps:

SHVL 8C4 A-2

SHVL 8C4 B-2

The outer sleeve has some marks / scuffs from previous life and some scuffing to the corners.

The inner polythene lined sleeve is semi-matte black with white printed text stating 2 patent numbers bottom left [1125555/1072844] and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' bottom right.

No stickers included (which I think might have been originally included).

Will be sent in specially purchased vinyl shipping box and fully insured.

Photos of the actual item you are buying. Please do check them out carefully - like I said I am not an expert and have tried to describe and capture everything carefully.

I have used the Record Collectors Grading System to the best of my ability. See below - am probably being prudent if anything. Please also check out the listing pictures too - I always try to capture everything faithfully.

NEAR MINT (NM or M-)

If LP has been played this grading vannot apply. A record or sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD+ (VG+)

Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Excellent.

VERY GOOD (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times and this is evident on playback, however there should be no major deterioration in sound quality, despite light surface marks and light scratches. Wear and tear on the cover, scuffing, edge wear, minor seam splits etc, are all to be expected.
