to see my other auctions featuring over 1000 records.  About 80% of this week's auctions are jazz LPs including many original RVGs, Blue Note, Riverside, Impulse, Atlantic, etc. (with a large percentage of them in superb condition), later OJCs, sealed albums, promos, private and Japanese pressings.  The other 20% or so consist of soul, funk, doo wop and Latin LPs, 45s and a handful of 78s.

The Fine Print (including combined shipping info):

45s are professionally cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine using high quality (alcohol-free) L'Art du Son concentrated solution with deionized water. All vinyl is conservatively graded under strong artificial light. All pressings are vintage pressings (not modern reissues) unless otherwise noted. I pay top dollar for quality record collections (classical, jazz, rock, punk, indie, latin etc.).  If you are interested in selling please contact.

I grade conservatively using the Goldmine grading scale.  There is no such thing as a "mint" record, near mint (NM) is my highest grade.

NM > VG++ > VG+ > VG > VG- > G+ > Good > Poor

NM  -  Playing surfaces will look new with no sings of mishandling.  Possibly unplayed.  

VG++  -  At most a few imperfections that have little to no effect on play.  Possibly unplayed as well.

VG+  -  Still a great-looking record with slightly more imperfections.

VG  -  Even more imperfections that may add some backround noise in parts.

VG-/G+/G/P - I won't sell too many LPs that fall into these grades, but there will be a progression downwards from VG depending upon the severity of the damage.  These LPs will be play-tested at least in part to ensure they don't skip.

Covers follow the same grading scale.

I don't generally grade inner sleeves, but if this information is important to you, please ask!  I will make a note above if the LP is accompanied with a generic (usually plain white), company (usually with ads) or custom-printed (an inner sleeve made specifically for that release) inner sleeve.
