Dark- Dark Round The Edges (U.S./ Machu Picchu/ 2013) This is one of the greatest guitar-driven psych records ever. The album includes only six songs, but every single second here is pure perfection. What you'll get is probably the most incredible guitar oriented psychedelic prog/hard rock LP ever recorded, with a searing fuzz-tone guitar buzzing throughout almost every track.
The flaming guitarwork is one of the best things on this record. It really boosts some of these songs, like for example "The Cat" which would be pretty mellow without the fuzzy guitar.
This album has also some clear prog elements which can be heard throughout the whole record. Those changing rhythm sections make every song sound pretty unique and fascinating.
