Mr G's production renaissance has been one of the more heart warming narratives of 2013 for fans of good old fashioned house and techno, with Colin McBean's popping up on all manner of labels. The Old Miami sees McBean add Gerd Janson's finely curated Running Back to his CV and there's a wonderful back story to go with it. The genesis of these two productions was this year's DEMF where McBean found himself in the backyard of the reputable veteran's club The Old Miami enjoying the sounds of Janson and young Ben UFO going B2B at a party hosted by the Visionquest crew. Suitably inspired, some time back in the Mr G studio resulted in two slabs of prime, rolling deepness that McBean does so well
