CONDITION DETAILS Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened) with HYPE STICKER. POSTER INCLUDED!! Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded, not just visually graded); intermittent light-crackles through the first minute of the first song, and in the intro of "No Words". Cover looks great; no record-ring, no scuffing (front and back). Inner sleeve is original (lyrics and photo), all three seams are solid. Spine is unbroken, clean, and easy-to-read. Very-little shelf-wear along the top and bottom-edge. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (This record is not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Band on the Run is an album by Paul McCartney & Wings, it became their most successful album and remains the most celebrated of McCartney's post-Beatles albums. It was 1974's top-selling studio album in the UK and Australia, and revitalized McCartney's critical standing. The cover photo was taken by photographer Clive Arrowsmith against the gable end wall of the stable block in Gunnersbury Park. It depicts the, now iconic, view of Paul, Linda and Denny plus six other well-known people (including actor Christopher Lee) dressed as convicts caught in the spotlight of a prison searchlight. The album contains the hits Band on the Run (#1 Hot 100, #3 UK) and Jet (#7 Hot 100 and UK).
