Superb and scarce big and bold production 1960's pop LP, with Gene singing hit songs in Italian. If anything these songs have more punch to them than Gene's English songs, a really superb LP.

1966 USA pressed Musicor mono LP, MM 2100.

Vinyl in visually VG condition. The labels are clean and undefaced and there are no noticeable spider trail marks around the centre spindle areas. Playing surfaces are still glossy, although display a number of light surface scuffs and hairlines. There are no deep marks or scratches however.

Playback is actually far better than the surfaces suggests and grades a solid VG plus. The recording is loud and punchy and free of distortion or groove wear. The surfaces are underlyingly quiet and free of background crackle. Just some very occasional and infrequent light crackle and one or two of the very gentlest of soft and isolated ticks, but this is really few and far between. The LP still presents a really enjoyable listening with background noise never being an issue of note.

Sleeve a strong VG. Front and rear panels are free of stickers or pen marks. Just a touch of darkening to rear panel. Red D-1 stamp (presumed deletion indicator) to top centre of rear panel. Bottom of rear pastedown beginning to peel back a little and with a small triangle of loss to centre area. No seam splits or fraying and spine in excellent shape. Just a touch or rubbing, knocking and surface loss to tip areas.
