DUANE EDDY Twang A Country Song UK RCA MONO GROOVED 1st 1B/1B NEAR MINT
Duane Eddy, "Twang" A Country Song.
Original 1963 UK pressed RCA Victor mono LP, RD 7560.
Earliest black and silver label with distinctive Decca grrove.
Matrix suffixes: 1B / 1B
Mothers/Stampers: I 1 / U 1. The initial "I" is not definite, and this may be a partially impressed letter.
Vinyl near mint. Spider trail marks around the centre spindle areas indicates just one or two plays, and labels still have a high unrubbed gloss. Clearly a very well looked after LP. The playing surfaces are bright and glossy still and display just one or two of the very tiniest of wispy and superficial sleeve removal type hairline scuffs.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Original poly-lined inner sleeve EX.
Sleeve a clean and bright EX, with just a very small penned initial to top left of rear panel. Still very firm and crisp and has clearly not been handled much. The front panel is still bright and free of creases or half moons to the laminate. The predominantly white and matt rear panel has just a hint of ringwear darkening, but is still acceptably clean and bright. Edges and seams are well preserved and pinched ends spine still in excellent shape. Entry side still acceptably crisp.
All in all, a very nice issue.
