Side A,  KANSAS CITY BLUES.  Visual VG+ to VG, has tiny edge ding close to 6 o'clock, not into grooves and hard to see.  Playback VG+, less at times. Surface noise is moderate but music & vocals is strong, clean and clear.  Plays really well minus the light to moderate surface noise, no distortion.  Side B, T. B. BLUES.  Visual VG+ to VG, has a couple small edge surface lams at 9 o'clock not into grooves.  Playback VG+, less at startup for a few grooves.  Has light to moderate surface noise, ticks/pops.  Like side a, music is strong, clean and clear, no distortion.

This is my grading system for 78's to match up with EBay's grading scale.  The grading for the description title is for a combined visual for the disc.  I also grade each side by visual and playback.  I may use +/- for a disc that falls between grades.  I inspect my discs closely.  If there are any surface lams, cracks or rim chips I will mention them in the description.

M= Almost impossible to find 78.  New and unplayed in the original sleeve.

NM=  A very rare 78.  Looks and plays like new.  No scratches, scuffs, or manufacturer defects.  Labels are perfect.

EX=  A highly collectible 78.  This is a disc that was played a limited amount of times and was handled, cared for and stored properly.  Will retain all of its luster, will have only a few light scratches or scuffs per side and show very, very  little to no groove wear.  Labels are nearly perfect with only the slightest of defects.  Playback may have a few light ticks or pops.  Surface noise will be minimal.

VG+= A nice, collectible, above average condition 78.  My VG+ discs will retain most of its luster but will have more than a few light scratches or scuffs per side.  There may be some patches where the luster has dulled, may show some light exposure fade along some edges, but overall the disc will be shiny.  Disc may have some light groove wear but no stripped grooves.  Labels may show some wear but still look nice.  Playback will have some ticks, pops and surface noise but nothing uncomfortable with the music being stronger than the "noise" and plays distortion free.

VG=  An average condition 78.  Dull finish, may have moderate even wear throughout.  Will have numerous light scratches or scuffs per side, if there are any deep scratches I will note it on the description. Labels will show wear but are readable.  Playback will have ticks, pops, and surface noise that is becoming uncomfortable but does not overpower the music.  May have a worn groove that distorts somewhat here and there, but overall is still a copy that is acceptable to listen too.

G= Poor condition 78.  Seriously worn and scratched.  Labels may or may not be readable.  Playback is plagued by noise and is uncomfortable to listen too.  Mainly used as a filler for a hard to find disc.

SHIPPING= I will ship anywhere in the world.  Please be aware that most countries do not allow insurance on First Class packages, I will not be held responsible for an item that I cannot insure.  Also, keep in mind that there is a maximum 4# weight limit on First Class in the shipment of multiple discs. If you are inside the US, I use media mail.  If you prefer Priority please let me know.  ***If you are outside of the US and your calculated shipping seems high please request an invoice.  Most of the time the actual shipping rate is a few dollars cheaper than what is quoted.    The $3.00 shipping and handling covers my expense for new boxes, filler pads and supplies.***

PACKAGING= I use a 13 x 13 x 4" 200 lb. rated box.  I place the disc in a plastic sleeve outside of the original sleeve when applicable.  I sandwich the disc between six cardboard filler pads.  I place shipping peanuts or newspaper under, on top of, and around the sides of the cardboard sandwich to fill the space and absorb shock.
