EX+ (Excellent Plus): A record that is in “like new” condition, with extremely light signs of wear, including light surface scratches or scuffs; but nothing that affects the play of the record or the listening experience. EX (Excellent): A record with this grading straddles the line between EX+ and VG+. VG+ (Very Good Plus): A record that has visibly more noticeable surface wear, including light surface scratches and scuffs. Surface noise will be present, most noticeable during quite passages and intro/outro fade of a song, but does not overpower the music otherwise. VG (Very Good): A record with this grading straddles the line between VG+ and G. G (Good): A record that has significant surface noise and scratches, but does not skip or repeat. F (Fair): A record that won’t play without skipping or repeating.
