Oneohtrix Point Never's side contains five tracks of obscure samples and shades of sound woven together to evoke images of a 1970s thriller with a haunted laboratory deep in an evil corporation's offices. Possibly. Rene Hell on the other hand provides five pieces in a more acoustic style. Fluctuating electronic sounds, like distorted and broken fax machines, flow around cellos, pianos and violins to create a gentle sense of melancholy.
