Album Notes
GREATEST HITS includes three newly recorded tracks: "Boyz With Da Bass," "The Splak Shop" and "We Like To Chill."
2 Live Crew: Luther "Luke" Campbell, David "Mr. Mixx" Hobbs, Mark "Brother Marquis" Ross, Chris "Mr. Ice" Won.
Producers: Luther "Luke" Campbell, David "Mr. Mixx" Hobbs, Mark "Brother Marquis" Ross, Chris "Mr. Ice" Won, Lazaro Mendez, Felix Sama, Eddie Miller.
For a short time around 1989, it seemed the whole world revolved around the crazy saga of bawdy Miami Bass group 2 Live Crew. As record stores defied bans and obscenity charges were pursued, Luke's merry band of booty-lovers scored a bevy of hits, including an unlikely U.S. top 40 hit with the FULL METAL JACKET-referencing "Me So Horny." The 1992 GREATEST HITS release contains that hit, another minor hit, "Pop That Coochie," and three originals including a mega-mix mashing together all their classics.
