In Excellent Condition
Excellent condition of rare, out of print, vinyl copies of
5 albums from British Prog Rock icons The Strawbs.
All five LPs are from the 1970s the bands greatest period.
Grave New World (1972) has a gorgeous album jacket of
William Blake’s painting ‘Glad Day’. With 12 tracks of great
music including ‘Benedictus’, ‘Hey Little Man ... Thursday’s Child’
and ‘New World’.
Hero and Heroine (1974) this LP was more Gothic and doom-laden
with the use of mellotron and guitar power chords and a big hit for
the band with 10 songs like, ‘Shine on Silver Sun’, ‘Hero and Heroine’
and ‘Midnight Sun’.
Ghosts (1975) is a 9 track mood masterpiece with songs like ‘Starshine/Angel Wine’,
‘Remembering’ and ‘You and I (When We Were Young)’.
Nomadness (1975) was also released in 1975, a very productive year for
the band at the height of their creative talents with 10 songs like,
‘To Be Free’, ‘Tokyo Rosie’ and ‘Hanging in the Gallery’.
Deep Cuts (1976) continues the excellence with 10 tracks that include,
‘I Only Want My Love to Grow in You’, ‘The Soldier’s Tale’ and ‘Charmer’.
Truly a great collection of albums from this seminal 1970’s band that still
makes music and albums today.
Experience the music the way it was meant to be heard in all the warm tones
of its analog quality stereophonic vinyl sound and not the inferior audio of MP3s.
