The sampletastic new track from Jamie XX lands in a tongue-in-cheek celebration of all things UK rave orientated, with an understated groove as the backdrop to a wealth of documentary chatter, MC toasts and dancefloor testimonials. Musically, the track deals in delicate steel drum refrains and a twitchy little house beat, but this one is all about the cultural references that will ring true with anyone that grew up exposed to the UK in the mid '90s. As if the point needed hammering home, the sports brand rap at the end of the track will bring a wistful tear to the eye of any former tracksuit-sporters hitting their late twenties.
