CAPITOL RECORDS, CAT NO: SWBO 101

THIS IS A RARE CHANCE TO BUY A NEAR MINT COPY OF THE SEMINAL 1968 ALBUM BY THE BEATLES, TITLED SIMPLY "THE BEATLES" AND ALSO UNIVERSALLY KNOWN AS "THE WHITE ALBUM". THIS WAS ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN THE UK ON THE APPLE LABEL, WITH A TOP OPENING GATEFOLD SLEEVE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED, AND BEARING THE EMBOSSED TITLE "THE BEATLES" ON THE FRONT COVER.  THIS US-MANUFACTURED VERSION IS A SIDE-OPENER, AND HAS THE CAPITOL RECORDS LABELS, A PRINTED TITLE AND NO NUMBER.  BOTH DISCS ARE IN STUNNING, AS NEW CONDITION, AND PLAY WITHOUT FAULT, DELIVERING RICH, DEEP AND CLEAR AUDIO WHICH ONLY VINYL CAN DELIVER. THE LABELS HAVE NO SPINDLE MARKS INDICATING VERY FEW PLAYS. THE ALBUM INCLUDES THE FOUR COLOUR PORTRAITS OF THE BAND, ALL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE INNER SLEEVES ARE PLAIN WHITE PAPER, NOT THE BLACK SLEEVES INCLUDED WITH THE ORIGINAL UK VERSION.  A SUPERB AND RARE COPY OF A MILESTONE SIXTIES ALBUM WHICH SHOULD BE IN EVERY SERIOUS ROCK COLLECTION.
