CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded); factory-pressed imperfection mid-way through "Stay" causes a few light-thumps. Cover looks great; light scuffing top and bottom center front and back. Inner sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear; small creases along spine. Minor shelf-wear along the top and bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. 1984 Pressing. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Station to Station is commonly regarded as one of David Bowie's most significant works, Station to Station was the vehicle for his last great character, The Thin White Duke. Preceded by the single Golden Years, the album made the top five in both the UK and US charts. The album was recorded after he completed shooting Nicolas Roeg's The Man Who Fell to Earth, and the cover artwork featured a still from the movie. During the sessions Bowie was heavily dependent on drugs, especially cocaine, and recalls almost nothing of the production. Musically, Station to Station was a transitional album for Bowie, developing the funk and soul music of his previous release, Young Americans, while presenting a new direction towards synthesizers and motorik rhythms.
