Vinyl is in Excellent Condition. Side B looks clean to naked eye. There are 2-3 markings on Side A one can see in good light. There might be 20-30 seconds where you can hear any surface 'noise' at all and that is very, very slight. Note - pic of Vinyl has reflection at edge - that is not on the vinyl.
Sleeve Graded VG+ Please see photos. Perhaps it should be VG+ We don't doctor any photos so you can see what we see or better given magnification. Sturdy Cardboard Sleeve, No Title on Spine, Edge Wear top.
Also, we simply cannot imagine grading old albums without first listening. We have some that look clean as can be that prove to have a skip, or too much surface noise. We listened twice to this before listing it on separate days to be as sure as possible of grading.

We've read several reviews and seen some ratings on this one. We wonder if listeners realize that, among other things, Sun was after the sounds of Africa. We are partial to this take of ''Ankh'' and we enjoy the track on "Sun Storm" also. The titles go with the music very well. There was a time when 'Sound Of Joy' was thought to be the 2nd recording released by Sun Ra after "Supersonic Sounds". This material was recorded, insofar as we know, prior to "Sound Of Joy" (info per Clemson Univ.)
