While Skream's decision to turn his hand to Daft Punk style revivalist P-funk/disco wasn't that surprising - he has spent the last few years banging on about his disco credentials, after all - it was still a giant stylistic shift for those used to his wobbly dubstep excursions. Getting the resultant hit, "Rollercoaster", remixed by well-traveled disco evangelist Dimitri From Paris, is less of a jump. The veteran Parisian DJ offers a more classic sounding re-interpretation of the Sam Frank-voiced original, adding vintage synths and disposing with some of the housier elements of Skream's version. It's good but even better is the Instrumental, which sees Dimitri indulging his passion for Prelude style '80s synth dubs.
