Deaf Center's Otto A Totland comes through with his sophomore solo release in the form of an eighteen-tracker on Germany's Sonic Pieces. This is acoustic music at its most provocative, where Totland paints an intricate picture simply by recording his feelings via the piano. Solemn keys travel to distant places and it's music to make you truly think and meditate. "Pino" has been in the works for a long time now, and the results have paid off all the hard work that's obviously gone into it. Bliss.
