CREAM - ITALIAN LIBRARY OST Lp. Music by RIOSO and OCCHIPINTI played by THE BLACK FIRE. Original Italian pressing on the FLIRT label (LIR 0442), from circa mid '70s. Mythical and killer Italian Library / soundtrack session that to date, still remains unknown to many collectors worldwide. For us, absolutely the best psychedelic scat lounge / funk / jazz / groovy mood music recording from the mid '70s Italian Library genre. Great for DJs and a hot item with certain Japanese collectors. Supreme Library music, from sleazy wah wah funk / funky lounge jazz with bongos congas and insane flute solos / electronics / jazz waltz / fender rhodes and spinette bossa / spaced-out synth lounge with hip hop beats to trippy cinematic themes featuring the divine vocals of Edda Dell'Orso. Our soundclip opens with ALCOHOLIC, the infectious funky soundtrack theme from Squadra Omicidi Chiama Cobra (an obscure Karate / Kung Fu gangster B-movie directed by Richard Scott starring Jimmy Lee and Wan Ping). RUSH and ALCOHOLIC were comped on Up! The Psycho Mellow by the Schema label. MAGNUM and SORRY sound like missing themes from the cult UK televison series, Randall & Hopkirk Deceased. The Flirt label Library is a private pressing licenced from Voce Del Lire. Yes, the sleeve is damaged but the heavy vinyl plays nice. Let's face it... Just how many of you out there can honestly say you have actually heard this masterpiece before?!? Even the tracklisting sounds amazing. Booming production with a stoned Italian hippie / sleazy giallo thriller sound and the afro latin percussionist totally kills it on several themes too. Very rare Library OST Lp!!! Vinyl is in shiny VG condition with scuffs and hairlines. All themes have some degree of light surface noises. Soft pops / ticks in places. Booming production sound. The laminated sleeve is not graded due to visible wear / deterioration and dirt marks etc from storage. Some pen writing to back sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library OST Lp!!!
