ELVIS PRESLEY - "SPEEDWAY" (LSP-3989) - FIRST PRESSING, ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING FROM 1968 IN SHRINK WITH BONUS PHOTO AND STICKER!

RECORD:  G+ with numerous superficial scratches & scuffs. There is a scratch on "He's Your Uncle, Not Your Dad" that causes something worse than a skip; a REPEAT! Don't we normally jump over that track anyway? The remainder of Side 1 plays well enough to enjoy, although there are some "ticks" in areas. Side 2 was not tested, but the condition is the same. The labels are very clean with very minimal spindle marks. The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S on this Indianapolis pressing.  

COVER:  VG+ with all of its original shrink wrap, including the rare Red Sticker announcing the Bonus Photo inside! A "Kmart" price sticker showing $3.37 overlays the Shrink sticker at one corner, which just ads to the nostalgia and originality of this album. The downside to this cover is what appears to be, dare I say this four-letter-word, "mold" at the lower left corner underneath the shrink wrap. This cover was obviously exposed to some moisture at some point in time and it unfortunately, affected the Bonus Photo to a degree as well. More on that below. This cover remains attractive and is very original with nice corners. There is no foul odor emanating from this cover!

BONUS PHOTO:  VG- with some moisture damage to the lower left-hand corner by Elvis' signature. It weakened the area to the point that it is basically a crease with some surface lift (see photos). The remainder of the photo is very clean and presentable with just some impression from it laying over the record.   

INNER SLEEVE:  A period-correct "Elvis" LP Catalog inner sleeve from the era.
