Records will be well-packed and sent out using
cardboard stiffeners and sturdy durable mailers.
I do not deep clean any records prior to sending.
I use the grading standard listed below for the record, although a detailed description is also given above;
Near Mint ( NM ) The record has been exceptionally well looked after,
there may be some very light hairline or marks that should not affect play.
There may be the odd light tick or pop audible mainly in
very quiet passages often caused by static/dust. There will be no visible
spindle marks on labels. The cover will appear as new.
Excellent Plus ( EX+ ) Close to Near Mint except the record will has a few
more light hairlines and/or light marks that should not be audible,
record labels will display light spindle marks. The cover will have light creasing
and/or wear, with no writing or stains.
Excellent ( EX )
The record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality, there may be a very occasional light audible mark/scratch. The cover and packaging might have light wear or creasing or light discolouration. There may pen on labels or cover.
Very Good plus (VG+): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. The cover may have heavier discolouration, wear or small tears or defects.
Very Good plus (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, and will have noticeable surface marks and scratches that are often louder than the audio. The cover may have heavy discolouration, wear or large tears or defects.
