Rare UK pressing - Mono soundtrack recording of "Speedway" the 32nd album by Elvis Presley and co-starring Nancy Sinatra, dated 1968, on the RCA Victor (Red Spot) record label. As monaural records were being phased out in 1967 in favour of Stereo, finding one in 1968 was extremely rare, as they were no longer stocked in the record stores, unless specifically ordered. Heavy vinyl record, with the original RCA inner paper dust sleeve, glossy brightly coloured LP cover, catalogue number RD-7957, with machine stamped matrix numbers WPRM 1034-1L on side one, and WRPM 1035-1L on side two. Black record label with silver writing and the "Red Spot" RCA logo. Record and cover sleeve are both in very good condition, with no visible defects, kept inside a clear plastic protective outer record cover. Although Ive started this auction at only 99p - that price is purely to attract more bidders, as I believe that it will eventually find its true level among the collectors who can genuinely appreciate this rare artifact for what it really is. I've tried my best to include as much information as possible in this description in order to answer most questions, but please contact me for any further additional details.
