New York's spacerock cult heroes White Hills hit the motherlode here yet again; few bands are as prolific as this glam-obsessed and mind-melting duo, who've now made thirteen albums of various shapes and sizes since forming a mere ten years ago. Yet what's more impressive is the sheer quality control at play, as the band bring motorik groove, drone-rock dementia, caustic synth work and an omnipresent melodic sensibility all together and watch them vie for supremacy.
