ELVIS PRESLEY 1950's WEEK CONTINUES WITH THIS HISTORIC E.P., "LOVE ME TENDER" (EPA-4006) - A FIRST PRESSING FROM 1956 WITH HORIZONTAL SILVER LINE LABELS

RECORD:  VG with much original gloss, however, on close inspection, there are several surface scratches and many light scuffs. None of these surface scratches can be felt with the fingertip and the record should play through on both sides without skips or repeats, but expect some light to moderate surface noise and random "ticks" in areas. The "Horizontal Silver Line" labels are very clean and glossy, but someone had affixed a filing number (14) sticker to the Side 2 label. This E.P. was released in 1956, in conjunction with Elvis' debut film of the same name and includes all four songs from the film; "Love Me Tender", "Let Me", Poor Boy" and "We're Gonna Move" . The matrix numbers end with 2S/2S.  

COVER:  NM- with the appearance of having just left the RCA Victor Rockaway plant last week! There are absolutely no seam splits, tape, stickers, bends or creases. There is, however, a penciled price notation on the back (1.30) at the upper left corner as well as a couple of very light stains on the back. The spine and edges are smooth all the way around and the corners sharp. All white areas are very WHITE! Very minimal aging is seen on this cover. When inspecting this cover, it is hard to believe that it is 59 years old!
