Up for sale is The King's very first album, self titled.  Elvis had made several singles with Sun Records before RCA bought his contract.  This album soared to #1 and remained there for 10 weeks.  The rest is history.
This is the ORIGINAL release, from 1956, not a later re-release!  The cover has "Elvis" in light pink.  The text in the box on the back has three parts:  about "New Orthophonic" recording, about "blunted needles", and about "Gruve/Gard".  All of the lettering on the labels is in silver.  The matrix numbering on the dead wax reads as follows: On Side 1:  G2 PP 1282-8S On Side 2:  G2 PP 1283-7S My research suggests that these matrix numbers are for the "Hollywood pressing".
Side 1:  Blue Suede Shoes: I'm Counting on You; I Got a Woman; One-Sided Love Affair; I Love You Because; Just Because Side 2:  Tutti Frutti; Tryin' to Get to You; I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry; I'll Never Let You Go; Blue Moon; Money Honey
