WARHEAD – LP BEL' 85 “Speedway” 80's SPEEDMETAL / 80's Metal

This is an auction for the “Speedway” LP by Belgian act WARHEAD released in '8 on Mausoleum records:

tracklisting: Speedway / Kill The Witch / Driver / Devil's Child / Attack Of The Shark / The Alliance / Attack And Kill / First Light Of The Apocalypse //

THIS IS THE BELGIUM WARHEAD from the 80's, not any of the USA bands with the same name!

WARHEAD play great, straight forward SpeedMetal with Metal moments. Some great, vibrato muscle vocals and plenty of double-bassdrum action.

Occasionally, this band sounds a bit like Dutch SpeedMetalers Angus, mostly due to the vocalage.

I got this album when it was released back in the 80's and it has been stored in a poly sleeve ever since. The top-wear on centre of sleeve was already there when I got it. This is one rare piece from the Mausoleum roster that hardly appears on collectors lists!

Condition of the item:

Sleeve: light ringwear on top front-cover, and some wear on top centre. Light corner wear, and a hairline crease back / front just under centre edge of sleeve. Some light insertion edge wear.

LP: Smooth surfaces; a little scuff mark on A-side, track 2 (does not affect play)

The B-side, track 3 (“Attack And Kill”) has an indentation that AFFECTS PLAY. It can be heard as a pop on 3 of its grooves during the song.

All other songs play fine, just the one outlined has these 3 pops

Hi, Paul here... I have been a collector ever since the early 80's, as well as I have been actively involved in the (Underground) Metal scene throughout the 80's and 90's and my current thing, Manic Mosh Metal. Now it is time to part ways with most of my collection that holds all formats (demo tapes, vinyl, fanzines, memorabilia), and all genres – from NWOBHM and melodic HardRock to Thrash, Power and DeathMetal, so stay tuned for more obscure items that I will be auctioning. Metal on!
