Very rare first single release from Mary Black. 1982 Dara label with original picture sleeve. Please see gradings as collection filler only.

GRADING:

Cover - Very Good Minus

Some price sticker residue at top right.

Ringwear on rear of sleeve.

Some creasing and general storage wear.

Small tear at sleeve entrance.

Record - Fair

'Rose Of Allendale' is Fair Plus, some marks on vinyl and plays with noticeable background noise.

'Home' is Fair, lots of marks and plays with lots of background noise.

Summary

A very rare single in any condition. Really just a collection filler and not a play copy. Please bear this in mind before purchasing.

Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: Sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.

Fair: Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve.
