Stunning copy of this extremely rare 1994 double vinyl gatefold release (GEF 24503) of The Stone Roses second and final album (so far). It comprises a beautiful gatefold sleeve with two 33rpm 12" records.
The record has been cherished and carefully stored in a plastic sleeve since purchase in 1994. The sleeve is in superb near mint condition with no marks or creases whatsoever and the spine is also in pristine condition (see photos) with barely any wear at all. Inner sleeves are also near mint condition and both records are near mint with no visible marks or scratches and sound quality is still fantastic, with just minor surface noise in keeping with a record of this age.
Side 2 of the first record has an extremely rare label mispressing which means it has ended up with two labels, one of which goes over part of the last track of the side (Driving South). Amazingly, the record has been pressed into the misplaced label so the track still plays fine, and although there is significant crackle when the needle passes over the label area, this is practically inaudible during the track and can only be heard properly after the track finishes. This record also has a slight warp of a couple of mm which was present on purchase and does not effect play.
Depending on your viewpoint this obviously makes this a unique one-of-a-kind example of an already rare collectors' item and an incredible piece of musical history and record of a band about to implode, or it's a useless faulty piece of rubbish...
Please note this is the extremely rare original 1994 UK first pressing and not one of the subsequent 1999 or 2012 reissues.
The record will be sent securely packaged and fully insured. Payment within 48 hours please.
