Original late 1970s Hoffman Avenue Records release, The Jersey Devil Box O’ Rocks, a colored vinyl splatter wax collection of the label’s first five Bruce Springsteen discs, all from the original stampers. This was a very limited numbered edition: This one is No. 56 out of only 100 sets that were made, making it one of the rarest colored vinyl releases extant, as well as the rarest HAR release. The albums included are The Jersey Devil, Ain't Nobody Here From Billboard Tonight and Hot Coals From The Fiery Furnace.

The Hoffman Avenue label was started by Bruce fan Lou Cohan, who had been bemoaning the fact that no one had made a Bruce boot, until he decided to do it himself. I gave copy of the first album, The Jersey Devil, to Bruce after his show at UC Santa Barbara in 1975. Though this was just after he’d simultaneously been on the cover of Time and Newsweek, he was really tickled at the time to have been booted, showing the album to Gary Tallent, exclaiming, “Look at this! We finally made it!” and then poring over the track listings with him.   

One of the discs in this set has been played once; the rest have never been played. They are all in excellent condition. The cover is in very good condition.
