EMI stereo 2 LP box set ASD 2376/7: Mahler Symphony No. 6 / Strauss Metamorphosen cond. Barbirolli / New Philharmonia.
UK semi-circle pressings.
It also includes a newspaper clipping from the Guardian in 1967 reviewing the actual performance. This must be an actual one-off and perfect for any collector.
The vinyl themselves are in Excellent + condition and appear to have been played very little with an amazing sound quality. They still maintain their original even glossiness and have been very well preserved.
The outer box is in Very Good condition. The outer paper along the top of the right hand spine has started to come away. I believe this could be fixed with a small bit of glue. There is also a small scuff on the top right hand side of the front picture. The main spine is still strong and in very good shape and all of the writing is clear and readable.
The inner booklet is in near mint condition with no noticeable flaws.
The original inner polylined sleeves are in Very Good Condition due to discolouration.
The newspaper cutting really does make this copy a one off for any collector.
I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
The record will be cleaned by myself and packaged in a protective plastic cover and then posted in a custom cardboard record mailer with a cardboard stiffener.
All items posted will require a signature to ensure safe delivery, regardless of stated postage costs. If shipping abroad this is in accordance with the Ebay Global Shipping Programme.
