Pressed up on a tidy little 7" format, Mellow Mellow Right On put their on mark on RSD 2016 with a double-barrelled reissue of two bittersweet boogie cuts from the mid 1980's. First up, 'Sweet' Charles Sherrell appears under a re-edit of his own "Yes It's You", an instantly seductive soul bomb that'll have you humming within the first bar - oh those power vocal, Lord! The flip is up to Glenn Jones, and the RCA veteran receives a subtle makeover of "I Am Somebody" banger - filled with ringing synths, power beats and the man's own deep and sensual vocals riding high.
