Emerson Lake & Palmer vinyl album 1973 1st pressing of 'BRAIN SALAD SURGERY' with matrices:

The vinyl is made of heavier material than later issues and this pressing has the original Atlantic/Atco inner advertisement sleeve with ROCK4 Cat No. Outer sleeve is die-cut and includes poster.

The record itself is in excellent condition and plays beautifully and with an excellent sound quality. Lovely glossy black vinyl with very few surface marks or hairlines, labels are undamaged.

Outer picture sleeve is in VGC, it has some minor scuffing along all edges. There are ringmarks from storage on the reverse and a crease in the right hand fold on the front flaps(as shown). Otherwise strong and intact with no major damage - no tears, staining or splits. 

Inner Atlantic/Atco sleeve has a width length neat seam split(easily repairable) a small 2" tear and some creasing. Despite this it still looks nice and once repaired, will hold the record well.

Poster is in excellent condition with no tears or splits, there is a little minor creasing from storage but no damage.

I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.

The record is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
