Issued in 1985 this is the original release of Gilly Buchanan's song Me No Mix, later rereleased on Tasha in 2011. Here on the A side we get Gilly Buchanan doing Ain't No Me with the song then the dub cut, whilst on the B side we have Patrick Andy with Ain't No Me song followed by dub. To confuse you the A side is actually the Patrick Andy tune although the label is for Gilly Buchanan and vice versa.....the labels state that the Gilly tune is side A and the Patrick tune side B..........however, the runout groove for the Patrick tune is TOE-002 A1, whilst the Gilly tune is TOE-002 B1. In summary the labels don't match the tunes and they obviously also decided to swap the A and B sides after the labels were done. The vinyl is visually graded VG and both sides play without any crackles or pops or discernible surface noise. Both tunes are heavy and rootsy. this is a fantastic item a must for your collection.
