Good vinyl condition of 6 Pop culture classics from the front-man and

founder of the iconic band Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry. These are the

pure fun albums released by the singer songwriter of his favorite song

covers and in later years these albums became an exploration for his

own original rock musical taste.

The first LP was his U.K. surprise smash hit, his debut solo album the

1973 ‘These Foolish Things’ with 13 amazing songs that include, Bob Dylan’s

‘A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall’, Lesley Gore’s ‘It’s My Party’, The Miracles’

‘The Tracks of My Tears’, The Beach Boys ‘Don’t Worry Baby’ and

The Rolling Stones ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ to name a few.

The second album is the 1974 ‘Another Time, Another Place’ with 10 great tracks

like Dobie Gray’s ‘The ‘In’ Crowd’, Sam Cooke’s ‘(What a) Wonderful World’, Bob Dylan’s

‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ and Kris Kristofferson’s ‘Help Me Make It Through the Night’.

The next album is his 1976 ‘Let’s Stick Together’ a true powerhouse of a record

with eleven tracks, five of which are thoroughly re-imagined remakes of Roxy Music

classics as well as The Beatles’ ‘It’s Only Love’ and The Everly Brothers ‘The Price of Love’.

The fourth selection is the 1977 ‘In Your Mind’ filled with 8 great original songs, no covers

and all are pure Ferry. ‘This Is Tomorrow’, ‘Tokyo Joe’, ‘All Night Operator’ and ‘Party Doll’.

The fifth LP is the 1978 ‘The Bride Stripped Bare’ a mixture of 10 songs both covers and

originals, like ‘This Island Earth’. Al Green’s ‘Take Me to the River’,and Lou Reed’s

‘What Goes On’ to name a few.

The last album is Ferry at his best, an album that could have been another Roxy Music

record the 1985 ‘Boys and Girls’ which went on to be his biggest selling solo LP with nine

tracks that include his gorgeous international hit ‘Slave To Love’, ‘Don’t Stop the Dance’,

and ‘Stone Woman’. This album also has an amazing list of guest guitarists such as the

Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler, Pink Floyd’s guitarist David Gilmour, Chic guitarist

Nile Rodgers and Bryan Adams’ guitarist Keith Scott.

A truly great find of an important musical collection and great fun records, you won’t

be able to stop playing.

Experience the music the way it was meant to be heard in all the warm tones

of its analog quality stereophonic vinyl sound and not the inferior audio of MP3s.
