I am selling a large range of vinyl records featuring a very wide variety of musical styles. They are all authentic original pressings, featuring quality music mostly from the 1970's and 1980's. They have all been very well cared for, though I will give an honest appraisal of their condition and will put up plenty of photos of the actual items for sale so you can see exactly what you are bidding on. I always endeavour to highlight anything which I think that I would like to be made aware of before deciding to place a bid, so I do tend to grade critically.
All these records are thoroughly deep cleaned using a professionally constructed wet vacuum system using only the highest purity record cleaning fluid so the vinyl is all very clean, glossy and dust free. Everything listed is, at the very least, test played, though more often than not played right through on a quality deck and I apply extremely high standards to my vinyl and would never sell a record that I would not be perfectly happy to have in my own cherished record collection. In the case of rare or particularly interesting vinyls, I may list records which may fall short in some way of my usual standards, but this would always be clearly highlighted in the descriptions.
I visually inspect every record under very bright light using an inspection lamp.
A note regarding the most important matter of all - the audio - as with all vinyl, even straight out of the cellophane, there can be light crackle or very light 'pops' during the quiet passages. I have listened carefully, at the very least in part, to all these records, so I will highlight in the descriptions any aspects of the audio playback which I consider to be outside the parameters of the very high standards I apply to my own listening. Please be assured that I would never sell 'fried breakfasts', only high quality records.
All records will be supplied to you in a good quality clear outer wallet to protect your sleeve.

The Stranglers - their first 3 original 1970's vinyl albums - 'Rattus norvegicus' from 1977 (matrix A1 / B1), 'No More Heroes' from 1977 (A1 / B1) and 'Black and White' from 1978 (A1 / B1) in very good condition.
The vinyl right across these 3 legendary albums is all in excellent condition, showing only very occasional light superficial hairline scratches visible in bright light, though none of these are feelable and they have zero effect on the audio, which is excellent. I have listened to all 3 of these records right through today and the audio is absolutely superb. I am listening to 'Rattus' again as I type this, currently 'Down In The Sewer' and the sound filling my living room is fabulous. The Stranglers are another band who really come to life on vinyl.
These sleeves are all showing some signs of wear which I will try to highlight, but please enlarge the photos and judge them for yourself.
'Rattus norvegicus' has light to moderate shelf and a little corner wear, the inner sleeve has been stuck up on a wall and therefore has 2 areas visible where the tape has been removed (see photo #11). 'No More Heroes' is the pick of these sleeves and is in very good condition with just light shelf and corner wear with a very good inner sleeve just showing light wear. 'Black And White' has a little tarnishing to the white card and moderate wear to the edges and corner wear. There is 3" knifing to the top edge. The inner sleeve is in very good condition. None of the inner sleeves have any splits.
To sum up, I'm not trying to pass these 3 great albums off as 'museum' copies, but I've certainly seen a lot worse, and indeed I own a lot worse myself, but barring the sleeve wear, these still look a very nice set of approaching 40 year old original punk albums in their plastic outers and most importantly, get these albums on the turntable and they all play superbly well and they would certainly make a very nice addition to anyone's punk rock playing vinyl collection.

I will send the records very thoroughly packaged in very good quality cardboard mailers with card stiffeners and with 'signed for' delivery which does cost an extra quid but I'll feel more confident that the records will safely arrive with you that way.
I will be listing lots of other very varied high quality records over the coming days and weeks and I have other listings currently running so please check out my other items for sale and thank you for looking.
