All of the grading is done by visual inspection. I pack each record with care and attention to detail to ensure safe shipping and handling. All records are shipped outside of the jackets to prevent seam splits unless they are sealed.

Original 1st UK pressing with Porky/Pecko in the deadwax

Vinyl--------(EX+) Excellent Plus condition! Clean and glossy and very close to near mint condition.Labels are also clean with a few light marks.  

Jacket--------(EX) Excellent Condition. There is some very light ring wear and light shelf wear/creasing on the seams/spine

I use the Goldmine Grading Scale with a couple of extra grades. There are simply too many records that fall in between the normal goldmine scale. I do this to ensure a clear and accurate account of each album’s condition.  The Scale Is As Follows:

MINT (M) ~ Pristine condition. Looks as if it just came off the manufacturing line, also listed as New, Sealed, Unopened, unused. Overall perfect condition!

NEAR MINT (NM) ~ Looks as if it just came from a store and was opened for the first time. Possibly played a few times if ever, with little evidence of play/wear. Overall in “like new” condition. May have a few small visible flaws that do not affect play. Labels are clean but may have some very light spindle marks, or marks from handling.

Excellent Plus (EX+) ~ Record may have some surface marks excluding it from being Near Mint. The marks are superficial and the sound quality will not be affected at all.  The Jacket is just shy of Near Mint. May contain very light  ring wear, shelf wear,staining or small visible flaws, seams and spine fully intact. Overall this grade implies the record/jacket is just shy of being Near Mint (NM). Labels may have one of the following: writing, names, light/little spindle marks .

Excellent (EX) ~  These records will show faint signs of wear such as light scratches/blemishes/scuffs. However the marks are superficial for the most part should  not affect the quality of the sound too much. A Excellent record will play with little to no surface noise and will have a great listening experience. Jacket may have 2-3 of the following: light ring wear, wear on the corners/ seams, small names, stickers, notch/ corner cuts, creases, and light discoloration. Labels may have spindle marks, small writing such as initials, and small stickers.
