Big Wheel 1003. Alvin's website says this LP was recorded in 1972-73 and was an "unauthorized" release in 1979. There is no catalog number on the LP or the label...I used the matrix # in the dead wax. Big Wheel released a single, "Dynamite Diana/Chains On Me" in 1973...I would assume it's the same songs heard on this album. Please check the above scans for tracks and details. On side two, tracks #4 and #5 are reversed. Alvin and the Pleasant Valley Boys went on to record many more LP's and establish a permanent residence at Austin's Broken Spoke Club. The LP has a few marks on the back cover but is in excellent condition. The vinyl looks and plays VG+. You can hear a sound sample of two songs from each side of the LP by clicking here:
