Three excellent 9/10 NM+ classic vinyl masterpieces from The Doors.
"An American Prayer", 1978, is clean, crisp, vibrantly white complete with Morrison's poetry/artwork book and a pristine, unplayed and gloss LP.
"Critique" is the amazing Deja Vu Records 1971 release of the May '69 PBS studio performance of Soft Parade material in the wake of the March 1969 Miami concert, which resulted in Jim's conviction of lewd behavior and subsequent tour cancelation. This album is a European import and HIGHLY sought after. A near 10 cover and mirror-like unplayed disc.
"Weird Scenes Inside The Gold Mine" is a 1972 massive two LP, gatefold masterful collection of greatest hits as well as two previously unreleased tracks, "Who Scared You" and "You've Got Meat". 100% perfect condition and also unplayed.
Also included is the April 1991 Rolling Stone magazine Doors special with huge sections detailing "The Doors" by Oliver Stone. It features several in-depth spreads featuring Val Kilmer's transformation into the character as well as behind the scenes information and Morrison life/career retrospective.
PLUS, that is NOT all!
You will also receive a HUGE bonus A collection of two incomparable pieces of definitive media for true Doors fanatics.
"The Doors" by Oliver Stone in the limited edition two DVD edition including behind the scenes and deleted scenes as well, but what makes it so special is that I personally purchased this in 2001 at THE mecca of record stores, Tower Records on Sunset, where Ray could be found on any random day browsing and shopping himself.
I was so excited to be there I had to grab a business card and place inside the front cover as seen. An undoubtable piece of music history, this store had to be closed like so many due to downloading and online access...
There's also the original "Love Lion" VHS, a remarkable celebration of music, poetry and Doors melodies hauntingly performed by Ray and Jim's personal beat poet friend Michael McClure.
