Davis Bowie' s vinyl album "Hunky Dory" on RCA. This is a UK 1st press 1971 album with Cat. No. SF8244 and matrices:

Pre Mainman, matt finish sleeve, Titanic credit on labels and GEM production credit on sleeve and insert.

The vinyl itself is in VG condition with only light hairlines from previous play - no scratches or anything feelable. Both sides played without jumps or skips. There was 2 pops during track 2 side 1 but sound quality was otherwise excellent, albeit with some light crackle at quiet moments and run-ins. Both labels are glossy and undamaged.

Outer sleeve is in VG+ condition with no major damage. As you can see, there seems to be a printing error with an area where the colours are slightly lighter than the rest. We cannot confirm this but it's definitely within the print rather than anything external. There is light edge creasing, corner scuffing and minor ringmarks from storage. Overall the sleeve looks neat and nicely preserved.

The lyric inner is a little creased with a 1cm edge tear but is otherwise undamaged.

Comes with its original inner sleeve.

I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.

The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
