Paul Revere & The Raiders        "Paul Revere & The Raiders"

This is a US vinyl pressing on Sande S-1001 from 1963.     This was their second album, pressed by a tiny record company in Portland, Oregon.         This album is impossible to find, even in Oregon.         This was only issued in Mono.      The labels are red with black printing.         The matrix numbers are :  Side 1 : SANDE-1001-A.    And Side 2 : SANDE-1001-B.     

It has been reissued on Jerden Records in 1966, Sears Records in 1969, and Pickwick Records in 1969 all with different covers.    It has also been reissue recently with the same cover and thin vinyl by Ettiquette Records.        

It was recorded live and there is light crowd noise at the end of each song.      Eight of the songs have vocals and four are instrumentals    This album was produced by Roger Hart.      The band is Paul Revere, Mark Lindsay, Drake, Smitty, and 'Doc' Holiday.    The liner notes are by Tom Murphy from KISN Radio in Portland, Oregon.    

The songs are : Shake Rattle And Roll, Don't Be Cruel, Linda Lu, So Fine, Blues Stay Away, Work With Me Annie, Mojo Workout, Rinky Dink, Hey Baby, Hard Tonk, Irresistable You, and Crisco.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is VG-

The cover is VG+ with no writing and no seam splits.         There is light wear.       The vinyl looks VG- and it plays VG.       There are lots of handling marks on all of the vinyl surface.     But, it plays great.      It plays much better than it looks.        The labels are clean with lots spindle marks.      The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 7 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are NO handling charges.     This record will weigh 23 ounces ( 1 pound, 7 ounces ) when ready to ship.      US winners can choose between Priority or Media Mail.      I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas winners will get shipping by First Class Mail International.    I will print postage through Paypal and you will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 3 PM and next day if after 3 PM : Monday thru Saturday)
