There have been so many reissues of Anson Weeks from the Mark Hopkins, I started wondering about the other bands that broadcast from Peacock Court. So, I dug through the archives, and put together a C.D. of four complete...or nearly complete... broadcasts originating from, or giving the illusion they originate from, the Hotel Mark Hopkins Peacock Court. Here is a rare listen to the elegance and class the dance bands of Anson Weeks, Griff Williams-Jimmy Walsh Orchestra, George Hamilton, and Henry King displayed live over the radio from 1932-1945. Enjoy and happy listening!!!
