Very nice example of this first pressing classic 1982 Clash album (CBS FMLN 2) complete with the extremely rare poster that came with the initial release. The original 'Free Poster Inside' sticker is also still in place and is near mint.
The sleeve has been kept in a PVC cover since purchase and is mostly excellent to near mint, with just a few very light hairline creases around the edges, and an area of slight wear where the original price sticker was removed (photo 4). There is also a very slight impression of the original price (£5!) that some numpty decided to write on the sticker after it was stuck on but it's not even visible in normal viewing conditions. The spine is excellent with no tearing or damage (photo 5).The original inner sleeve with lyrics is also in mostly excellent condition with no tears or damage, just some very minor creasing and a small area (roughly 1 x 3 inches) where a sticker has been removed leaving a barely noticeable roughened rectangle (top right of photo 11).
The vinyl is in excellent condition with just minor surface noise and very slight crackle noticeable in between songs, and a few crackles during Death is a Star. There are no significant scratches and no skips or jumps. Both labels are excellent.
The poster is very near mint and has never been mounted or used and has only been unfolded a handful of times. It has no creases (other than the original ones), no tears or damage and no marks of any kind.
See photos for detailed condition.
