CONDITION DETAILS Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; slight discoloration and no scuffing (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (plastic). Spine is easy-to-read with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Notch in top-right.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Biko is a protest song about Steve Biko, a noted black South African anti-apartheid activist. Biko had been arrested by the South African police in late August 1977. After being held for several days, he was interrogated. Following the interrogation, Biko was transferred to a prison in Pretoria, where he died shortly afterward. The song was used to promote the Richard Attenborough Biko biopic Cry Freedom, and its music video (which consisted mostly of clips from the film) was in heavy rotation on MTV during the film's premiere and run.
