Black Sabbath "Mob Rules"
This is a US vinyl pressing on Warner Bros. 3605 from 1981. This was second Black Sabbath album with Ronnie James Dio on vocals. The front cover is autographed : "To Mitchell, Magic & Ronnie Dio".
I got this album from Tower Records in Portland, Oregon. I was there the day after they shut the doors and went out of business. I bought lots of promo stand-ups, album cover slicks, 7" singles, and a box of about 100 albums. ALL of the albums had been taken off of the high walls of the store. Every album was autographed !! They were autographed to store employees that had gone to their concerts. This album is sold 'as is' with no proof or authentication.
The band is : Vinnie Appice, Geever Butler, Ronnie James Dio, and Tony IIommi. This album was produced and engineered by Martin Birch. The album cover artwork is by Greg Hildebrandt.
The songs are : Turn Up The Night, Voodoo, The Sign Of The Southern Cross, The Mob Rules, Country Girl, Slipping Away, Falling Off The Edge Of The World, and Over And Over.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is M-
The cover is VG+ with no ring wear and no seam splits. There is slight wear and writing on the front cover. The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint, with very light handling marks. The record is not perfectly flat, which you can see as it plays, and it still plays perfectly with no jumps or skips. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. The record comes in a clear plastic WB Records inner sleeve.
About Me :
I started collecting records in 1966. I started selling records in Goldmine in 1985. I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.
