1968 US 14-track compilation LP, pasted picture sleeve wth detailed liner notes on the reverse. Hard to find collection from one of the most distinctive (and little known) country-blues performers of the pre-war era, a gifted vocalist who preferred slow/dirge like songs with some incredibly intricate guitar work, L-1010.

GRADING:

Cover - Very Good (The sleeve is in nice condition with a little darkening on the rear. The album came from a collection were the owner put sellotape all around spine and seams to protect them. Please check the pictures and bear this in mind before purchasing.)

Record - Very Good Plus (The vinyl and labels are both pretty clean with just a few light storage hairlines. Please bear in mind the quality and time period of some of the recordings when considering the actual sound quality.)

Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve.
