CONDITION OF SLEEVE:This is Beautiful example of this iconic sleeve. The fully laminated top loading sleeve is remarkably well looked after and lovely and clean, just the very slightest signs of age, just one or two tiny creases in the laminate and very light signs of use on the opening edge. Most would say this sleeve is near mint!! Both the black inner sleeves are present and in stunning well preserved condition. The poster is present and fully intact with just minor signs of handling, certainly has not been hung. The 4 cards each with an image of a band member are very very near mint, best I’ve ever seen.... in fact the sleeve is best I’ve ever seen. The number 7944 is nice and clear on the front A very very nice example. Tough to find better to be honest. Check out the you tube video for a closer look.
CONDITION OF DISC: Both the discs sound great, they play through fine on all 4 sides. It’s clear that disc one is the favourite of the owner of this album as it does have some marking but nothing that causes any major distraction to the music. Disc 2 is near mint!! Really well looked after, very light play if any!! Stunning second disc!
None of the 4 sides have the “An E.M.I. Recording” text to the left above the 33 1/3 ensuring this is indeed a first pressing.
Both discs play through great and sound brilliant. It’s been a long time since I’ve listed to The White album all the way through and this copy gave me a thoroughly great listen.
