This is a rare 1979 Capitol Records Japanese pressing LP featuring the original soundtracks of the legendary movie The Deer Hunter starring Robert De Niro. The opening score “Cavatina”, performed by virtuoso guitarist John Williams, enchants most movie and music fans and the reprise version at the end of this record, makes this score an even more enjoyable piece with the addition of a flute.
