Available here is a fantastic 1st U.S. press original of KISS' Rock and Roll Over LP with ALL the inserts (picture sleeve, merchandise form, and segmented sticker)! The cover is a strong VG+ and the vinyl is a nice clean, smooth playing NM- with the Sterling stamp in the deadwax! It's tough to find one this clean and pristine...especially with the original inserts in great shape!

GENERAL INFO:

Alright, Phase Two of selling my LP’s is upon us and I will be dropping some of the big guns over the next several weeks! I’ll be listing at least 10-12 different LP's each week over the next several months (probably more while I'm on vacation), so keep checking often to see what’s new! Please look at the feedback on my record sales over the past several months (and years!) to get an idea of my standing as a record seller! I've also sold drums and some audio gear (to great reviews as well), but if you look specifically at the LP sales you will see the same comments over and over (accurate grading, fast shipping, excellent packing)! I took great pride in amassing and caring for my collection and am selling it with the same great pride!

These LP's are from my personal collection, which I began in 1997 (although I grew up on vinyl in the 70's of course!), and have been selected, handled, cared for, and stored with the utmost care taken. The vast majority have been played only a few times, being that I transferred nearly all of them to digital over the years. Most were bought used - although I have purchased several New or SS, and I put a lot of time, money, and research into collecting them (and had a lot of fun as well)! Unless noted, each LP has been very well cleaned on a VPI-16.5 RCM, re-sleeved with a high quality anti-static inner sleeve (I always keep the original inner sleeve with the cover unless it was a plain white one), and with a collector's quality outer plastic sleeve used to protect the cover. My LP's have always been stored vertically and in smoke-free homes and played on properly set-up, high quality turntables (usually some variety of Rega with a high-end cartridge). I have sold quite a few pieces over the years (at least 200-300 LP’s) and have NEVER had my grading questioned - I am very picky and grade conservatively, which my feedback shows!

GRADING:

There's nothing I hate more than buying an LP that someone says is a "very strong VG+ or VG++", but is actually crap! A VG+ should be a REALLY NICE record that most collectors would be pretty happy with, not a catch-all category for everything a seller can't pass off as Mint, NM, or NM-! Equally awful is when people try to pass off an LP that's barely a VG+ (or worse!) as NM! I don't like buying crap, so I'm sure not going to sell crap - on that you can rely. I am human, though and don't claim to be infallible, so if it would appear I made a mistake, please get in touch with me. I play grade my records using the following guidelines (pretty similar to Goldmine and what most other reputable folks use):

·        Mint = Still Sealed and perfect. Period.

·        Near Mint (NM) = As damn near perfect as an opened record can be - should look/sound unplayed.

·        NM- = Extremely nice condition - scant little to hear or see that is less than pristine!

·       VG+ = A very nice play, but you'll know you're listening to a record...perhaps faint surface noise in between tracks once in a while - or during a real quiet passage, but not extreme and does not interfere with your listening pleasure...no big pops, scratches, skips, or anything like that. A VG+ cover has wear and is less than perfect obviously. It may have obvious ring wear, dinged corner, little surface crease etc., but certainly doesn't appear abused or neglected. No writing, mold, rips, etc...I may occasionally use a VG++, which would denote that it's a very very very strong VG+...but really, at some point multiple +'s gets a bit silly...like VG+++++++++++...kind of ridiculous!

·       VG or lower - I really don't have anything that fits this category...If it didn't look and play like a pretty solid VG+, I either didn't buy it or I tossed it...there's no value in crap records! If I can't enjoy it or feel good about what I'm selling, I don't want it!
