First of all-notice there aren't any stains on the label. Check around and you will see why I'm saying that. This is a very strong playing record. It has a couple surface scratches on side B and a couple very light ones on the A side. I couldn't detect any problem with the way it should sound. The grooves seem fine. It retains it's original gloss, and the label only faintly shows wear on the high ring. I heard some-where that this is one of the rarest of the rare. I believe it because I'm very familiar with St. Marys. Nobody there seems to know anything about this band. I've rated this VG + on the A side because of the mere presents of the scratches, and slightly under vg for the B side . I've played it for several people with good ears and experience, and they agree with my rating. Check the scan carefully. If you don't like what you see-don't bid! I'm sure someday, well-another one might show up! By the way; I collected a long time, but when you get old you have to let go. Such it is with me. I don't want to put a mess of just cheaper stuff on. No time for that. The starting bid is just common sense. Regarding grading-What I'm telling you is my opinion. Not written in stone. Does anyone ever agree on these things? My friends have, but that wasn't even easy. This is not a disclaimer-it's just food for thought. This is very collectable and a hard (very hard to acquire addition)record to even find, so think about that By the way; it's great music.
